Green Energy and Eco-Homes
Green Energy is a term used to describe sources of energy that are considered to be environmentally friendly and non polluting such as (amongst many) geo-thermal, wind or solar. The aim of green energy is to power, heat and cool buildings with reduced or preferably zero levels of CO2 output and create less pollution.
The construction industry has an obligation to explore renewable energy technologies such as wind turbines, solar panels and biomass heaters – these offer alternatives to dependence on fossil fuels and reduce CO2 emissions.
